The Challenge
When a friend referred us to the founder of Hermitage Therapy & Learning Center, she had just secured a new space for her Speech Therapy practice and was overwhelmed with all the moving parts of opening her doors. What she needed most was a creative partner who could take the pressure off and bring her vision to life.
The SOlution
From a single idea to a full sensory experience, Mazzo Media helped bring this speech therapy practice to life with a brand identity rooted in meaning, imagination, and growth.
We collaborated to develop a meaningful brand identity—anchored by a childlike illustration of a bird making sound while holding a key, symbolizing both speech and learning. This visual metaphor guided the entire design process.
We extended the branding through a custom color palette and worked with her to apply those colors across interior room paint selections, ensuring a calming and cohesive sensory environment for children. We also created an exterior sign and window decals to complete the look and feel of the space—establishing a strong, welcoming presence before a single client stepped through the door.
The RESULTS
The practice opened with a professional and playful brand identity that set it apart in the local market—and laid the groundwork for future growth. As Hermitage Therapy & Learning expanded to include Occupational Therapy, Feeding Therapy, K–12 Tutoring, IEP Consultation, Dyslexia Screening, and Test Prep, the visual brand remained a trusted foundation.
